We are a small, dedicated team committed to creating a calmer, more positive experience for both pets and their owners during veterinary visits.

We have always shared a deep connection with animals and felt unsettled when seeing them stressed or suffering. This led us to seek a different approach, one that prioritises comfort, understanding, and emotional wellbeing.

I’m Andreea - Veterinary Surgeon

From a young age, Andreea, our veterinary surgeon, showed a natural compassion for animals. She spent her summer holidays at her grandparents’ home in the countryside, exploring the garden and often bringing home wildlife such as baby rabbits, hedgehogs, birds, and mice to care for and protect.

Before pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, she worked in a pet shop, and later, during her studies, spent weekends working at a busy boarding kennel. During this time, she rescued two wonderful dogs, Donna, a playful and loving Boxer cross, and Cindy, a spirited Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger appetite.

After graduating in 2015, Andreea moved to the UK and began working in small animal practices. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling with her husband, and spending time with her pets.

To this day, she continues to rescue wildlife, caring for injured animals at home before releasing them back into their natural environment.

The rest of the team

Catherine – Registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Catherine, our veterinary nurse, has loved animals since she was a child. Growing up surrounded by rabbits, cats, hamsters, and budgies, she developed a strong bond with animals early in life.
  • Catherine began her career working in kennels and catteries before joining a local veterinary practice in 2004. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015.
  • She is excited to be part of this journey, supporting our team and providing compassionate care for your pets.
  • She later welcomed her first dog, a Dalmatian, which confirmed her desire to work with animals. Recognising the deep emotional connection between pets and their owners, as well as the health benefits they bring, she knew this was her calling.
  • Caring for animals during their treatment and recovery, and helping them feel safe and comforted, is what she finds most rewarding. She is passionate about continuing to develop her skills, with a particular interest in areas such as physiotherapy and canine massage.

Filip - Veterinary Care Assistant

  • Whether pets or farm animals, big or small, he has always had a deep appreciation for them all. Over the years, he has rescued many dogs from difficult conditions, helping them transition into safe and loving homes.
  • He currently volunteers at Pablo's Horse Sanctuary, where he works alongside a dedicated team to care for elderly and unwanted horses, ensuring they are comfortable and well cared for in the later stages of their lives.
